How do I file for an Injunction for Protection?
The appropriate packet(*) will need to be completed, the full name and a good address for the person you will be filing against will be required. The paperwork will be forwarded to a Judge for review, if the Judge grants the temporary injunction both the petitioner and respondent will be required to attend a hearing. At the hearing the Judge will either deny the injunction or set it for an extended temporary time or even a permanent injunction deeming it in effect for as long as he feels necessary.
Please note Injunction paperwork must be turned in before 4pm.
* said packet can be emailed or mailed to you however, the paperwork will need to be brought back into our office for filing along with a picture I.d.
