When I record a deed or other document will the original document be returned to me? (Original Notes, Original Mortgage)

Yes, your original document is returned to you and will reflect the all of the recorded information including the book and page number.

Original Notes and Mortgages submitted for recording only and not associated with any court case are returned to the party requesting the recording.

Original Notes and Mortgages filed in an existing or ongoing case are maintained by the clerk's office until an order entered by the court directs the clerk to return the original documents to a party.
