You will still be married, however the State will not have any record of the marriage.

Once the officiator has completed the ceremony and pronounced you married - you are married.

The clerk's office recommends that you record your marriage license within 10 days of the date of ceremony to avoid any future unnecessary costs (i.e. lost license).
