Can I request past due rent or damages after an order or final judgment of removal of tenant has been entered?

Yes, providing the initial complaint requested past due rent and damages AND the defendant(s) were personally served a summons issued by the clerk.  The summons may not have been posted.

If the defendant was personally served, then a sworn affidavit of damages must be filed in the case. Providing the initial complaint requested past due rent and damages - no re-open fee will be assessed.

Once the affidavit is filed, the clerk will prepare an order for the court (pro se filers only).
