What happens if my court case cannot be held due to natural disaster or closure of the court?

If your court date is scheduled during a period that the clerk's and judicial offices must close due to natural disaster; your hearing will be re-scheduled as promptly as possible. If you are represented by an attorney you should contact your attorney immediately as they may have already your rescheduling information.

In some instances, new notices will be mailed or emailed, it is your responsibility to provide the clerk's office with your current mailing or email address for notification.

Additionally, you may review your case via our website www.okaloosaclerk.com > Court Records > Search your name or case number. Any scheduled events will be listed on public record cases.
