What is Clerk Finance?

The Clerk Finance Division provides budgetary, accounting and financial reporting services for the Office of the Clerk of Circuit Court and Comptroller.  Some of the Division’s duties include: processing daily cash sheets from all cashiering locations, remitting court fines, fees, and costs to the State of Florida, purchasing for the clerk’s office, maintaining all subsidiary ledgers and controls for the cash bond, online foreclosure sales, tax deeds and many other internal office funds, processing payroll, processing disbursements, overseeing the Title IV-D child support grant and the preparation of all necessary financial statements to the BCC Accounting division.  The internal Clerk Finance Division handles over 75 million dollars annually on behalf of the county, the State of Florida and other governmental agencies.
