Effective July 1, 2010, drivers who have been cited for the following violations may elect to show proof of compliance to the Clerk and have Adjudication Withheld upon payment of the penalty listed. Must select disposition code TLR
To Reduce the following sited statutes a SIGNED Plea of NOLO (3x life, 1 in 12 months) should be filed with proof and payment prior to the due date/court date. The plea of NOLO may be emailed/mailed to you upon request. (Written Plea of NOLO contendere)

SIDE NOTE: The DHSMV requires any operator cited for running a red light, failure to yield right of way to vehicle or pedestrian, failure to stop for a school bus - to complete a Department approved 4-hour basic driver improvement (BDI) course. All drivers, except CDL holders, and those convicted of criminal offenses listed under s. 322.0261(4) may elect to attend a BDI course in lieu of points; this election will also satisfy the school requirements of s. 322.0261(4). Therefore, if the driver is eligible and elects to attend school for one of the above non-criminal violations, the Department will withhold points and count that election as having satisfied the requirements of 322.0261(4).
